I do deep cleaning for busy homes, especially when the couch has pet hair, the vents are dusty, and the ceiling fan is doing its own thing. Basic tidy-up only: surfaces, vacuum, mop, and I'm usually in and out in a couple of hours. I also wipe inside the microwave and oven without being asked.
